Turning on your Hubspot integration
Log into Kapta as an administrator, and open Settings / Configuration. Turn on the slider for Hubspot.
Enter your Hubspot API key. If you have difficulty locating this key, please refer to Hubspot's knowledge base.
Kapta will require the following application scopes to work for pull only
crm.objects.contacts.readcrm.schemas.contacts.readcrm.objects.companies.read
crm.objects.deals.readcrm.schemas.companies.readcrm.schemas.deals.read
Kapta will require the additional application scopes to work for 2-way push/pull
crm.objects.contacts.writecrm.objects.companies.write
crm.objects.deals.write
Once Hubspot is enabled, when you create a new account, you'll be able to import account details from Hubspot.
After choosing Hubspot, choose the accounts to bring in, as well as any contacts from those accounts.
In addition to the standard import you can enable/disable your daily and realtime synchronizations. All data from Hubspot is pulled once a day. Data synced back to Kapta is updated to Hubspot in realtime. These integrations can be enabled/disabled from the Settings.
You can also configure how the syncs work, which field you want to use for deal amount, and closed lost reasons (if these features are enabled in Kapta)
When linked to Hubspot, you can also create custom fields that match Hubspot fields. For example, when creating a new custom field for Opportunities, click Link to Hubspot and choose the relevant Hubspot field to match.
