Opportunities Settings

When creating an opportunity for an account, the BASIC tab has a field for the Stage of your pipeline, such as Discovery, Proposal, or Negotiation.

These stage options are created by the administrator in the Opportunities settings. 

The three stages of On Hold, Closed-Won, and Closed-Lost are permanent and cannot be edited or deleted. In addition to these, you must define at least one other stage. Click Add Opportunity Stage, and assign a name and probability of closing. 

Stages can be re-ordered by dragging the Move icon, so that the order can reflect increasing probability values.
